Leatherback Sea Turtles :

They are the only sea turtles that lack a hard shell, enabling them to dive great depths. As to their size, they grow to about 4 to 6 feet in length and weigh between 550 to 1545 pounds!! They feed exclusively on jellyfish (due to the fact that leatherbacks lack teeth). As to their range, because of their streamlined bodies and powerful flippers, leatherback sea turtles are able to swim thousands of miles over open ocean and against fast currents.

Unfortunately, this amazing and prehistoric-like animal is greatly endangered. About one out of thousand laid eggs live on to become a full-grown adult. Their greatest threat? Humans. So please, do your part in keeping this earth beautiful and ensuring that future generations can experience the unique and wondrous things we have been so blessed to experience.
Ocean Parcel
Currently? The Southern California Bight, especially the Channel Islands :)

KAT!
How are you?
It was really fun meeting you in DC. It's too bad that you weren't with us in California, if would've been cool to talk to you there and get to know you more! You were very helpful in DC. Thank you.
Hope all is well!
Miss you. Keep in touch.

Yeahh, there are so many things that interest me it will be hard to choose... I kind of want to do something with music too, I think. Haha I will have some weird combinations no matter what my majors and minors are, I'm sure.

I saw that you are interning with NOAA on other people's comment walls. What do you do at your internship and how did you get it? Will you be in DC with us?
