Profile Marine Organism
I love all marine organisms... They all excite me to no end, but I especially love coccolithophores, dolphins, stellar sea cows, and marine iguanas! :)
Ocean Parcel
The Isle of Shoals... I live in New Hampshire and the Isle of Shoals is just off the coast of New Hampshire. Having it be so close makes me feel good that I might help part of the ocean if I had the resources...

Pictures, Notes and Quotes... :)

PICTURES:

This picture was taken of me while I was diving in the local Aquarium in Cape Town, South Africa (the Two Oceans Aquarium). It was just me and the dive master on this dive with leatherback sea turtles, manta and sting rays (they were huge!), fish and several sharks… I will be able to adjust this picture at home, where I can remove the glare! I will then repost it and you can actually see what’s happening! :)

This picture was also taken in South Africa... And I know that it's not an aquatic picture, but all of the area I was in was underwater at one point in time! :) While I'm on safari, I saw these lions and we watched them sleeping, then yawning, then walking, then running... Then KILLING! These three lionesses where mother, daughter and aunt... The mother and aunt flanked the creature, while the daughter went in for the kill... A warthog! :) Now, as much as I wish these were my cats at home... They're not! We don't have any warthogs to feed them! ;)
3 lions. 1 warthog. 1 kill... Priceless! :)

NOTES:
Hey guys… With music… I know that I talked to some of you about bringing musical instruments so that we could create and share music in a fun and learning experience… I realize that some of those instruments will be hard to bring with you, so I had another thought… Why don’t we each bring one (or two) songs from our region, or cultural songs to share… Tell me what you think! :)

QUOTES:

Dance like no one's watching.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Sing like no one is listening.
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.

Live today for tomorrow never comes and hope for tomorrow like it's today.

KARISSA!!! It's been so freaking long since I've spoken with you! I miss you so much...I've been so busy with UofL and Project Polar Bear that it's sucked away all my free time.

How have you been? What have you been up to? Any new adventures? I've been busy looking for internships...I can't find any within my budget. Ha. All of them I'm interested in cost at least $5,000 not including airfare or food. Sheesh.

Anyways. Like I said...I miss you!!!

Karissa! how are you doing?? i thought id let you know that danny is making a fb group where we are all going to be connected in a video project. We are going to take videos at home and then send them to him. Either that or do our own editing. If you want to be involved you could let him know or I could just let you know whatever the group is doing since you don't have facebook!

Hey Karissa!!!
I dont have too much time right now, I have Aikido in a little bit, but I'll try to type everything. The end of summer was ok for me, I spent more time with friends and all that. My schedule is pretty relaxed since I'm a Senior. I have American Government Honors, then Economics Honors, then two classes of Calculus AP. Then I get to go to a class at the college campus (English on Monday and Wednesday, Child Psychology Tuesday Thursday) and afterwards have lunch. My day ends with Environmental Science AP, which is my "friends" class since all of my closest friends are in it. Homework has been nonexistant accept for Calculus. We've been assigned 12 questions a night, but they're all extended like part A B C etc...It's all review of stuff we haven't worked on in months, and it took hours for me to finish. But it's getting better.
I think that's funny you named your sea lion after me James and you. It has a story to go along with its name. So how have you been? Is it still summer or has school started for you yet?
I've been having a really difficult time getting to sleep ever since I got back from Cali. I'm not sure why, but I've been having nightmares about everyone from the trip. Like they'll be with me and then disappear! It's crazy...
I haven't done anything for OFL yet, but I've already scheduled one presentation that is in the first week of January at the Environmental Learning Center. I'll probably talk to my Environmental Science class too. Have you done anything for it yet?
I've g2g, comment back! Miss you!

Well school started last week and I'm already flooded with homework... and then of course theres the whole college process starting up.. But I'm really excited for my classes and i think its going to be a great yearr. the weather is FINALLY cooling down here so just nice and breezy, not too hot. Hopefully it stays that way. :) hbu?
