Hello , all. To all of the OFLer's of 2011, I miss you all. To all the OFLer's of 2009, hello :) I'm glad I got the chance to become a part of the great big OFL family, and I hope to stay in contact with everyone for the rest of my life. So, for OFLers of the past and the future, here is some information about me you may not have known.
Favorite color:Purple
Favorite food:Lifesavers gummies
Favorite drink: At the moment, Powerade Zero Mixed Berry (and they're on sale this week!:D $.69 USD, heck yes)
Goal in life:Have the great American dream life (eco-friendly version, i.e. mud house, sustainable living, etc.) Oh, and save the world.
Best friend:
My Noafaty Noaf Noaf, my best friend from Bahrain who is teaching me Arabic. Whose hair I borrowed to be the grudge, who always makes me laugh, and who can be super duper mean xP This is our sad face upon leaving each other :( And I miss her very much
Alhassan Ali Omar, his excellency from Egypt, lol, is my newest best friend. He is silly, can be very very seriously mean lol, but is very supportive, caring, and respectful. He's my kayak buddy, and I'm his personal photographer lol. I miss you too sir :/
Ocean for Life will always be an amazing and huge part of my life, as will my new OFL family. I can't wait to be with all of you soon, and I can't wait for us to change the world.
So my first project.
Well, though this one is less about outreach to others and more an outreach to my fellow OFLers, one of the things necessary after the program is continued contact with the ALUMNI, and this form of contact includes the cultural understanding we're working so hard towards.
