Profile Marine Organism
Emperor Penguin-

The Emperor Penguin is the heaviest and tallest of all penguins. It is known for the long journeys it makes throughout its life, so it can feed its young and mate. It travels 50-120Km to breading colonies. The female lays 1 egg, which the male incubates while the mother searches for food. Their average lifespan is 20 years old.
They enjoy eating fish, crustaceans, and cephalopods. Their primary food is the Antarctic Silverfish.
The Emperor Penguin's life is controlled by climate, overfishing, tourism, disease, and habitat destruction.
Ocean Parcel
Broughton Archipalego.

Located on the north east part of Vancouver Island, near Port McNeil. This area is of concern because salmon farms are affecting the wild salmon, due to sea lice covering the wild salmon fry. Broughton Archipalego is 11.670 ha, and British Columbia's largest marine provincial park. It contains dozens of undeveloped islands, and was established in 1992.
Orcas, harbor seals, harbor porpoises, sea lions, sea otters, river otters, mink, raccoon, black-tailed deer, black bears, bald eagles, harlequin ducks, cormorants, great blue herons, humpback and minke whales, dolphins, salmon, cod, and crab are just some of the many species that can be found here.

Hey! How are you?
I can't believe I haven't talked to you yet! So, what're you up to these days?

Anyway, since this is the first time I'm talking to you after OFL, I wanted to thank you for being such a great firend throughout the trip! I know I wasn't very easy to tolerate all the time! =p You were like the older brother I never had, you and Cole too, and a lot of your '18-year old advice' is coming in handy! XD

Anyway, I wanted to ask you if you knew about some good colleges in Toronto! Remember the canadian firend I told you about? Yeah, well, she's going back to Toronto soon and she wanted some advice!

It was great for me to get to know you and the other participants, and I look forward to seeing what you achieve in your future endeavors. And, of course, I will continue to look for many great photos (and maybe more videos) from you! ;)
