I haven't even started packing! Yesterday was my sister's graduation party and
we were all busy setting up. Just hanging with my cousins and stuff. 3 days left. . .

I'm sure we'll never be far offshore and we will always be in groups. Chaperones will probably be with us at all times too. Kayaking is fun and we'll probably have to wear life vests to maintain our safety.

I'm not doing the program this summer :/ And yes, I have been kayaking before but not on santa cruz. It's really fun! Have you done it before?

I've visited a few colleges in California before and they're really nice. If we're eating
at the cafeteria, the food is amazing too! Anyway, counting down the days. . .

I'm not sure how you are going to be doing it in the program, but when I went snorkeling, we started on the island shore and swam around the island (not far into the ocean at all). It was really cool! I saw lots of sea urchins and fish, and even a jellyfish! I'm sure it will definitely be an experience you'll remember for a very long time. And the marine sanctuaries are just the protected part of the ocean around the island.
